FLEXX HANDLEBARS and a new set of IMPACT MOTO PEGS

Tuesday, April 4th – Yahoo!

I just got a call and my Flexx Bars and Impact Moto Pegs are ready to be picked up. This is great news because now I’ll be able to install them prior to the Blythe WORCS race. We are headed there Thursday morning on the 6th. I’ll be taking a ton of photos for my blog.

OkieDokie – Grandpa & Grandma & My Sister Katie picked up the bars and pegs in St. George, UT this afternoon, Tuesday, april the 4th. thanks Guys!

Right now I’m stuck in the 11 inches of new snow in Utah County and won’t be heading down to Mesquite, Nevada until early Thursday morning; install everything, load up the Toy Hauler and then drive another 4-1/2 hours to Blythe, California to Sporty’s Sports Park. I’ll be taking photos and posting them as soon as I get the new equipment put on.

Race Day * Rnd 4 WORCS Blythe, CA

So, didn’t get a chance to install my new FASST Company bars and pegs Thursday morning like I thought I might be able to do but my gramps and I loaded the bike and headed to Shorty’s Sports Park in ugh! “Blythe, California”. That road and trip through Searchlight, then Needles and onto Blythe is like a Wild Toad ride at Disneyland. Up and down, up and down and then the road hazards or should I just call them as I saw them, miles and miles of “Whoops”. The winds seem to always be blowing against us or cross winds that are always pushing the side of the truck and toy hauler. Single lane road with the driving lunatics passing on blind corners, double yellow lines and at the bottom of the whoops; crazy, crazy and crazier! Anyway here are some pics of the bars and pegs installed.

FASST COMPANY – FLEXX HANDLEBARS – A BEAUTIFUL SITE ON MY BIKE!

Yeah, it made a difference! I had FASST make them a little wider than my last bars and I could really feel that they helped me control the bike, especially in the deep sand and ruts on this course. They were brutal. This was also a course that I was so glad to have the pegs installed. Thanks FASST; finished 6th in the 60 minute 450 B and 11th in the 15-24 Sport B races. The 450 race ended up in the nineties; hot and dry. Way, way different than the foot of snow in my yard in Utah County when I left.
