WOW!! This race was just plain exciting! I’ve never been on a course that mostly felt like a grassy, muddy and curvy all at the same time. I had a great time. Yeah, I messed up on a curve. I went into it hot and there was a huge sandy rut that I stalled my bike. I was running around 5th at the time and when I got the bike started again I was passed by a lot of riders but ended up 9th in Class B 450. Overall I had a ton of fun as always with #WORCS. I need some more seat time since this was my first race of 2023 and boy was I rusty. The 2022 YAMAHA YZ450F ran great. I’m really looking forward to the next race held in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
WORCS and their staff do an amazing job; that’s a given and I absolutely love racing the WORCS series. Their YouTube Videos are some of the best around. Take a look at their video below and you’ll see me in my Yellow O’Neal Gear on my Yamaha.
